Day 239--Thank you Pinterest

I took a break from birthday crafting to put together this little project I found on Pinterest. I already love it and it has become the first thing we've officially hung on our walls. Just a collage picture frame from Walmart, some scrapbook paper (and the days of the week/'our week' cut out by the Cricut) and a dry erase marker change our weekly activities on Sundays.

Day 237--Happy Birthday Lexi

Our little friend Lexi turns 4 exactly 1 week before Rowan...we had such fun celebrating with her!

When we walk to our friend's home just a few houses down, I pass right by a few pear trees that I just desperately want to plunder! But I won't :(

Day 234--Grammy Outfits

Grammy gave us these last year when they didn't quite fit, but this year the girls decided to give them a try! And since they wouldn't wait a day to wear them until Grammy was coming to visit the next day, I made them promise to at least let me take a picture!

Day 233--Storyland

We had a great time at Storyland on Monday. The girls were initially disappointed to learn we weren't scheduled to meet any of our friends there, but by sheer luck we found 2 up there!! It is always more fun with friends.

Day 231--a warm house

A friend gave me some flowers for my new home...I decided to photo them before they succumb to my less-than-green-thumb!

Day 230--the Farm

On Friday we took the kiddos to Davis Farmland...they had a blast!

Day 229--Outdoor play!

I have been loving the weather lately...the humidity gave us a break--it was a perfect time to be outside.

Day 228--A double birthday

We had so much fun at our good friends: Reagan & Gracie's birthday party on Wednesday, Happy Birthday Girls!

Day 227--Playgroup (fruit) pizza

Tuesday was the last playgroup where everyone was to be in attendance (although we did have a last minute pull-out) so we had a little celebration...the kids made fruit pizza and had a grand old time! We technically have 1 more Tuesday playgroup, although we'll be missing a couple of key players and after that starts school and Tuesday just won't work for anyone anymore. I will really miss it...although thankfully we'll still have Fridays :)

All 3 of my cherubs were goofing off while getting ready to go swimming on Wednesday morning. If only it didn't appear that Rowan was practically choking Leo...

Also, we got Kaylee some new sparkly (clearance bin) flip-flops...guess who was the first to put them on when we got home...

Day 220--Leo at swimming class

Leo is too young to participate in swimming lessons, so he just has to chill while his sister's do their thing!

Day 219--A cool snack

The girls had a play date today and a special snack to celebrate it!

Day 218--Out to breakfast

For some of their chores the girls receive tokens which they can redeem for experience prizes. They can earn up to 7 tokens each week and if they save 40 (which do the math is quite a few weeks of not spending) they can pick a restaurant to eat a meal at. Well Rowan achieved her lofty goal so out to breakfast we went:

Day 217--A Maine event--a wedding even!

So many great pics of the wedding and festivities...over 400, now pared down to an easily manageable (gulp!) 268...here's a smattering of some goodies!

Haley was so good to my girls they loved her!

We had a little while after a dip in the ocean and before the wedding, what better way to spend that time than a little game of croquet!

Day 215--Toothless & Swimming!

Kaylee officially lost her first tooth this morning...she is very excited for a visit from a certain shy nocturnal fairy this evening.

Also, we wrapped up 2nd session of swimming this morning...the girls are progressing really well.

I could look at that goggled face all day.
