I took the girls with some friends of theirs and friends of mine to see the play, "Rapunzel." They had a blast and the production was very cute! Fun summer night!

Day 212--A Memory
Today she would have been 31.
This is still my favorite picture of her.
This is also the only picture we have out at the new house. It was not packed with the rest of the pictures but rather with a last minute box as I didn't want to take it down until the last day at the old place...so it was unpacked very early. It will probably not remain where it currently resides forever, but especially today, I am glad it is out and not still in a bin or box with the rest of our pictures.

Day 211--Child-labor
We have unpacked the Cricut and begun experimenting with our proposed decorations for our upcoming Mermaid party. I have previously done evites...they are simple, but the girls really wanted to do standard invitations this time (once they saw the Mermaid card the Life's a Beach Cricut cartridge can do). OK, fine...but then, they wanted more embellishments...shells and starfish--and now (post these pictures) each Mermaid is holding a present too! Again, fine--however, guess who was going to help me with all these requested upgrades!
Day 210--Grampy's Car
One day, my dad went out to by a computer, he came back with a little red Miata. That was quite a while ago and that little car is still around providing my parents with much joy. And on Saturday it provided some fun for the kiddos too! I am not comfortable with my kids riding in it, as it is a 2-seater and therefore doesn't accommodate a car seat. However, my parents seem relatively understanding to that, so they just let the kids play in it. Do you hear that Mazda, you should list that as a feature: "Portable Jungle Gym"
Please excuse the extreme over-exposure of these pictures...it was not nearly as evident in the tiny 1 1/2 inch view-finder. Oh well, the content of the picture is the most important in this case!

Day 209--Funky Lamp
I have had this lamp forever, it stayed in its box. Until we moved and it met an antique desk--then it came out and it is one of my favorite inanimate thing to look at!
Day 208--Kaylee floats
This is not a big deal for many...but Kaylee has been really struggling in swimming...she says she feels she cannot breathe and even floating is very difficult for her as she begins to panic almost immediately causing her to sink and panic more and, well you get the idea. So this float right here, even though assisted, was a big deal for us!

Day 207--Kaylee & Rowan
I was going to take a picture of Loofy but the girls literally begged me to take their picture...so I did:)
Day 204--the Lantern returns
I wish the return of the lantern came with a better picture, but as the days went on without me really being able to get to my pictures, my motivation for taking good pictures definitely took a nose-dive.
Day 201--Santa's Village
Took lots of pictures with just the point and shoot camera--I am on a roll so I am not going to spend too much time here...but here's a collection of some of the goodies:
Day 200--the ducks!
We're taking care of some ducks for friends while they are away for vacation, seemed a good a thing to take a picture of as anything else...
Day 197--New door!
But Grant and Bampa, built out a couple of little walls, rewired some electrical things and now...we have a door on our bedroom, hurray!
We will be taking it down soon to stain it to make it match everything else, and obviously the wall needs to be finished, but it works and by the end of the summer it will be beautiful!

Day 196--No door!
So when the previous owners of the house added on their 'master suite' addition in 2006--they opted to leave out a bedroom a door. So from the dining room table, you can see from through the beautiful glass french doors which give entrance to a sitting room (which will be an office for us) and right on through to the master bedroom. I guess that's fine for empty-nesters, not as fine for me.
Day 195--Last day of soccer camp!
The girls had an awesome time at their week long soccer camp. They are excited to play this fall!
Leo was excited to spectate
As was his buddy...Liam
U4 & U6 division of soccer camp, with Coach Rory! So much fun.

Day 194--Rainbow
If you look very closely, you can see the rainbow over my car...I need to figure out what I could have done to make the shot better, because they rainbow was really cool!
Day 192--Leo watching soccer
I took a lot of pictures of the girls playing soccer with their friends...but I didn't like them very much...spectator lil brother's pics came out better.

Day 191--Loofy
He'd like you to think he's looking out the window, but he's not. Yes, he's skittish but he really does like his new perch by the window!
Day 187
Lacking inspiration on this day, after taking so many 4th of July pictures, but at least I took the camera out...
