OK, so the official picture:
Kaylee received more flowers I think than anyone there! She's a lucky girl with a family that adore her and with great friends that came out to support her in droves. I am feeling very blessed right now.
I didn't bring the good camera since I didn't want to worry about it and I didn't have a great vantage...but I got some cute pics of her debut!
And finally, most of the song videos are too long to upload here...but at least you can catch Kaylee's 1 line in the play:)

Day 85--Happy Birthday Daddy!
Leo was snoozing while we all sang Happy Birthday to Daddy, but the girls had fun!
Daddy's good friend Bill was able to join us, we haven't seen him in a long time...he was so good with the kids, which is great, cause he's expecting his first 2 kiddos in a couple of months!
Ba was able to come celebrate his grandson's birthday too...and to entertain his great-granddaughters by allowing himself to be feathered...so this picture is entitled: Ba and Feathered!

Day 81--Rowan Pumps
There are many things in Mommy-dom that have made me proud. Fewer more selfishly than when my children have learned how to pump a swing by themselves. Yes, of course I am proud of the physical achievement, and I jump for joy a little bit about the prospect of the hours I won't have to spend this year in my yard or at the playground behind the swingset...well for Rowan anyway!
All 3 cherubs having a swinging good time...nyut, nyut, nyut!

Day 80--First Day of Spring
Lots of time spent outside today on this beautiful day, and I think I got some really nice pictures too...
Of course it really helps when the 'model' is so naturally photogenic.
This is our friend Elizabeth, and I think she wins 'photo of the day' but not by a huge margin, I got some great pics of a bunch of the kiddos today.
This is our friend Lexi, I really like this shot. Its not a style that I usually like, but I get an overall feeling of innocence with this picture.
And a collage of several of the nice ones of Lexi...
I've been having great luck with Gracie lately, the sun was particularly harsh in this shot, but B&W cleaned and softened it up a bit and now I really like it! Although again, I am generally not big on profiles...I guess it depends on the day.
Here's our friend Tocky (really Alessandra, but that's a mouthful for a 3-year-old), classic!
And here's our friend Shelby again, she's such a cutie! I feel there is more to do here in the editing to correct some of the technical errors I made with this shot, but I am just not that good at editing and it is not my priority this year--maybe next year.
Here's my start hula-hooper in action...she's actually retained quite a bit of her skill considering its been dormant for 5 months or so.
Hey, my little slugger picked the right sport already!
Our friend Kim has 2 cats: Snow and S'more. One of them liked the camera, the other did not...
And that's it for today:)

Day 77--Happy St. Patrick's Day!
From us to you, Happy St. Patrick's Day!
This photo's title says it all...
As does this one's. Word.
My beautiful little Leprechauness.
And I admit it, I got guilted into it...and so we had an apparently 1-legged trickster visit us last night (I've named him Stumpy.) He made himself some green oatmeal (and spilled it), cast a magic spell on the girls' glasses that turned their milk green when poured in, and left us some green pee (ewwww) in our toilet...not to mention the footprints...that magically didn't appear on the rug!

Day 76--Butterfly Barrette
Again, a day late...but the pictures were taken!
So Kaylee made this little barrette at a birthday party a few weeks ago. She loves clipping it to headbands, so I figured why not capture what little color there was on this dreary day at the bus stop!
Even the camera's flash didn't wake this little guy from nap yesterday! (Well yes it did, after 5 pictures, but still...)
And lastly...Rowan donned Daddy's glasses and became Neo...
She realized the truth...

Day 75--Bad Parenting, Part 2
So continuing yesterday's theme (although it wasn't nearly as bad of a day.) I really need to shorten the length of time of silence before I check on Leo...especially, now that he can de-cap markers with ease.
Here he is getting ready for his Alice Cooper look-a-like contest.
I swear tomorrow I will try to take some pictures with skill instead of just randomly cataloging my life.
Although as a small addendum, I did happen to have my little camera at the gym today, which was great when Heidi brought out the weaponry! She had warned us COMBAT was going to be extra violent today!

Day 74--Bad Parenting, Part 1
So yeah, yesterday was not my best day ever! It was kind of a problem-snowball kind of day. And in fact, I probably wouldn't have remembered to take any pictures if it hadn't been for this crown jewel in the crap festival...Rowan (while fooling around on her chair despite repeated warnings) slammed her head down on the table and bit her tongue...hard!
Have you ever tried to get a 3 year old to stick out their tongue and hold it still for the length of time it takes to get it into focus and take a shot? I don't recommend it... For that matter, can anyone just stick out their tongue and hold is still? Its not easy! I should have changed my settings as opposed to repeatedly making her stick her wounded tongue out...but, I was frazzled, this was not the first (or last) thing to go wrong yesterday!

Day 72--Mish Mosh
I am feeling pretty happy with myself today. Here is my gal, when the flash doesn't go off, she really does love the camera.
This shot isn't particularly good, but I was just so thrilled that I had my camera on hand when the hawk soared over our property.
And here is Rowan with one of her new BFFs at BBF (that is my gym): Tucker!
