Day 71--Umbrella Dancing!

So since it was beautiful out...there is nothing more fun than pretending to sing and dance in the rain, right?

We had a gymnastics birthday party today...there was a lot of bouncing.

Day 69--Other kids and stuff

Took a whole bunch of pics today! I tried specifically to not take pictures of my own children while at playgroup...
So here's Leo's friend, Sweet Caroline (whom Rowan serenades on a fairly regular basis.)

This is Shelby...if you hang around Rowan for any period of time over, lets say 60 seconds, you will likely hear about her friend Shelby! I realize of course that the middle picture is not particularly good, but it is just SOOOO Shelby that I had to not only include it, but quasi-feature it!

On the way home as we were passing one of the farms the setting sun was simply stunning...of course with limited equipment, a car full of children in serious need of a fill-up (both the car for gas and the children for dinner) and a dead cell phone I didn't have the liberty of being to finicky about camera position or settings really. Still I kinda like these shots.

Day 68--Lantern's Lament!

No, the orientation isn't wrong, my lantern has been knocked down! 6 1/2 years and I barely noticed the thing, then over the past 2 months, it has been a source of inspiration and a grounding unit, a safety even...and now...well, you can see...

I will have Grant fix this, but we'll all know, we'll all KNOW it will never be quite exactly the same...

Day 66--Its time for more babies on a couch

My baby playgroup rotates hosting duty--whenever we are at my friend, Lyn's home, we take a picture of the kiddos to sort of catalog their growth. This works out to be about once every month and a half or so. So, for today we have another round of:

Day 65--Frivolity

So, we had a little impromptu photo shoot today, because the girls were having so much fun it just needed to be captured 'on film.' However, I decided to try to challenge myself so I put the girls into an interesting patch of sun in the dining area...this turned out to be a learning experience. However, I did get one shot which I really really love...(please ignore the unkempt hair...the pigtails can only last so long especially after dance class clothes have been removed.)

Otherwise, hilarity, although not necessarily fine photography ensued.

A short while later, I had to capture this little moment as well, because clearly I've been sticking my camera in this little guy's face to often because he dug out his own and began his own resolution...
